Corvallis can be reached by plane from the Portland International Airport (PDX) and Eugene Airport (EUG). The drive time from PDX to Corvallis is approximately 1h45 minutes while the drive from EUG is approximately 45 minutes. EUG is the recommended destination for NW/MET 2018 Conference attendees.

By Train

The train station in Albany, Oregon (ALY) is served by Amtrak’s Cascades and Coast Starlight trains. The trip from Portland’s Union Station to Albany is approximately 1 hour, and approximately 6 hours from Seattle’s King Street Station. The Albany train station is approximately 20 minutes from your Corvallis destination by car.

By Car

Motorists can reach Corvallis via Interstate 5 and exit 228 onto highway OR-34 W which leads right into downtown Corvallis.

Both Uber and Lyft services are available in Corvallis/Albany region. Uber and Lyft are not currently available in the Eugene region.

All major car rental agencies are represented at the Portland and Eugene airports.

Airport Shuttle

Hut Shuttle provides hotel transportation from the Portland (PDX) airport to the Hilton Garden Inn in Corvallis.

Oregon Express Shuttle provides transportation from the Portland (PDX) airport to the Courtyard by Marriott in Corvallis.

OmniShuttle provides transportation from the Eugene (EUG) Airport to Corvallis destinations. Contact them at 541-461-7959 to make arrangements. Group rates are available.

Parking

Parking at your selected conference hotel is complimentary. For those driving to the Oregon State University campus, we recommend parking in the Zone C parking lot at Reser Stadium, across the street from our event venue, the CH2M HILL Alumni Center. Daily parking permits are available for $10/day on the Oregon State University Transportation Services website. Metered parking is also available.
