Introducing the New MW/MET Executive Board!

On April 1, 2022, during the business meeting at the NW/MET 2022 Conference in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, the NW/MET membership elected a new Executive Board. In light of delays caused by the global COVID-19 pandemic, all board positions were vacated and new members were elected.

The position of Conference Director is the only appointed position. This role is assigned to the organizer of the next NW/MET Conference. In 2023, the NW/MET Conference will be held in Helena, Montana, and hosted by Carroll College. Dan Case, of Carroll College, as been appointed as Conference Director.

Raul Burriel, of Oregon State University, the former President of NW/MET, was re-elected as President once again.

Thomas Scott, of North Idaho College, the former Conference Director, was elected Vice-President.

Cassidy Hall, of University of Idaho, the former Treasurer, was elected Secretary.

Andrew Borts, of University of Nevada, Las Vegas, was elected Treasurer.

Although terms are usually for a duration of four years, elections are staggered and occur every two years. Therefore, the positions of President and Secretary will be up for election once again in 2024, while Vice-President and Treasurer will be up for election in 2026.
