Announcing The Keynote Speaker for NW/MET 2022 Conference

The Northwest Managers of Educational Technology (NW/MET) is a consortium of Educational Technology professionals from higher education in the American Pacific Northwest and Intermountain regions and Western Canada. Our membership includes professionals in the field of audio-video design, integration, and production, classroom design and support, instructional design, remote teaching, and more.

On March 29 – April 1, 2022, NW/MET is returning to their traditional in-person conference, with 4-days of presentations and events at the Coeur d’Alene Resort in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.

Our keynote speaker for the 2022 NW/MET Conference is Dr. Ken Udas, Vice Provost for Digital Learning Initiatives at the University of Idaho. Dr. Udas has served in a variety of leadership, management, and teaching roles in universities with dedication to high quality, high access, and low barrier educational programming including Comenius University, Slovakia, UMUC, the Open Polytechnic of NZ, the State University of NY, PennState World Campus, UMassOnline, and most recently serving as Deputy Vice Chancellor, Academic Services & CIO the University of Southern Queensland, Australia. Dr. Udas has written and presented extensively on the topics of distance education, technology, and openness.

The theme for this year’s conference is Navigating the Next Normal. Join us for 3 days of sessions and events at the Coeur d’Alene Resort in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, the Playground of the Northwest.
