Oregon State University is seeking an SRS Product Manager. The Product Manager is part of a team called Learning Platform Services that provides operational support for Learn@OregonState, OSU’s integrated learning ecosystem for credit, professional, extension and open education. Product managers’ portfolios include one or more systems; their job is to advocate for the faculty, students, staff and community members who use the system, understanding their needs and representing their interests. This position is responsible for OSU’s enterprise student response system (SRS). The Student Response System Product Manager gathers quantitative and qualitative information from the user base to identify needs, resolve issues, and to leverage the platform effectively. Based on feedback and analysis, this position recommends solutions for improvement and optimization, and manages the associated projects to implement then. This position requires a deep knowledge of instructional technology and the elements involved with classroom polling (student mobile apps and devices; instructor platform; learning management system integration and grade synching; classroom network and display performance), as well as pedagogical considerations.
